Local YMCAs Embrace Digital Communication to Promote Initiatives

Partner with VIZIONefx on System for Wellness, Event and Programming Information

BALDWINSVILLE, NY -- VIZIONefx, a Digital Communication integrator based in Baldwinsville, NY, today announced it has partnered with YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley to provide Information Broadcast Channels at locations in Oneida, NY, and Rome, NY.  

YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley was seeking a way to better communicate with its members, staff and visitors. After learning of the environment and the messaging and content YMCA creates, VIZIONefx recommended its MESSAGEefx platform for installation.

MESSAGEefx is a customized broadcast channel which will playout YMCA-specific news, schedules, events and information on multiple flat-panel displays at both the Oneida and Rome locations. The platform also allows for targeted Advertising opportunities for local, regional and national partners.

YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley serves the greater Rome, Oneida and New Hartford areas with programs and services for the entire family. The branch in Rome was founded in 1871; the Oneida site was added more recently, in 1990.

Le Moyne College Selects VIZIONefx to Produce Campus Broadcast Channel

BALDWINSVILLE, NY -- VIZIONefx, a Digital Communication integrator based in Baldwinsville, NY, today announced it has partnered with

Le Moyne College to provide a Campus Broadcast Channel through its custom-designed CAMPUSefx platform.

Le Moyne College, a Syracuse, NY-based Jesuit institution of higher education, was seeking a broad-based communication tool to better communicate with its students, staff and visitors.

CAMPUSefx is a customized broadcast channel for Le Moyne-specific news, schedules, events and emergency information. Through a unique installation, the channel is broadcast campus-wide to every building, facility and dorm room connected to Le Moyne's cable network. Monitoring and content management are achieved through a centralized platform.

"We are excited to be working on yet another project with Le Moyne," said J.C. Whipple, VIZIONefx COO and a Le Moyne alum, Class of 1995. "As a alumnus of the College, I am proud of the work we have done at Le Moyne and the partnership we have created. This Campus Broadcast Channel will provide the College an incredible vehicle to communicate in a direct way with students, staff and visitors to the campus community."

VIZIONefx has previously partnered with Le Moyne on projects for Athletics and Dining Services divisions. For the Athletics department, VIZIONefx created an interactive touch screen kiosk, housed in the lobby of the Athletic Center, which digitized the Hall of Fame and provided a resource to gain expanded information on Dolphin Athletics. For Dining Services, VIZIONefx designed and developed Digital Menu Boards which are featured in the Dolphin Den, an on-campus cafe and gathering space.

"We were looking for a way to enhance communications to our students and all those on our campus in a way that would stand out, while offering flexibility," said Le Moyne College Vice President for Student Development Deb Cady Melzer. "VIZIONefx was able to provide a system that allows us to easily customize content in a format that gets noticed."

VIZIONefx Goes Live in Carrier Dome

SYRACUSE, NY -- VIZIONefx announced it has partnered with Syracuse University Athletics to install digital communication platforms in the Carrier Dome.

Widely known as the Largest On-Campus Arena in the country, the Carrier Dome now features the MESSAGEefx platform at its Ticket Booth and offices, located at Gate B. The installation went live in advance of the Orange's recent football game against Rutgers on Oct. 1.

At the Ticket Booth site, MESSAGEefx will broadcast and highlight gameday information, individual game and season-ticket packages and upcoming events.

"We are excited to partner with Syracuse University, its Athletics program and the Carrier Dome," said Matt Oswalt, VIZIONefx Co-Founder and President. "The Carrier Dome is the premier on-campus arena in the country and we look forward to assisting in the modernization of information distribution and fan engagement."

Future installations in the Carrier Dome will include concessions menu boards and information screens, and interactive technology at the Guest Services booth. Advertisers will have the unique opportunity of being prominently displayed in a digital format on over 15 screens positioned around the facility in front of over 800,000 unique visitors annually.
